Feel the fabric, choose the design – inspiring seasonal service

New to the UK is ‘Tissus Monde’, an inspiration book for fashionistas and designer/dressmakers, containing colour photos together with couture fashion swatches for each of the designs featured. Exclusive to top-end fashion fabric store Jason’s of London, from whom all the materials shown are available, it comes with a slimmer magazine-style version containing only the photographs which can be studied at leisure when considering additions to next season’s wardrobe.

The autumn/winter 2004/5 collection includes suits, capes and coats in multi-coloured tweeds and embroidered flannel, outfits in mix and match materials, glitter and fantasy fabrics for elegant evening silhouettes and special occasion clothes. Tissus Monde joins seasonal Designer Collections created by the couture houses of Carnet, Ungaro and Valentino in which each designer presents a sketch or photo together with the materials used to create it.
